Teaching Assistant (Part-time, 2 openings)

Goshen Friends School is hiring two part-time Teaching Assistants for the 2025–26 school year!

We are a Quaker preschool in West Chester dedicated to joyful, hands-on learning and a caring school community.

We are seeking:

-One assistant for our 2-day Froggies class (older 2s turning 3), Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:30 am–12:30 pm
-One assistant for our 4-day Bumblebees class (pre-kindergartners), Monday–Thursday from 8:30 am–12:30 pm

The ideal candidates:

-Have experience working with preschool-aged children
-Are flexible, energetic, and physically able to keep up with active young learners
-Are patient, kind, and deeply respectful of young children and their unique ways of learning
-Enjoy being part of a close-knit team and supportive school culture
-Admire and respect “little people” and the joy they bring!

Applicants should also:

-Be open to living the Quaker values of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship
-Attend in-service training, student orientation, parent nights, monthly staff meetings, and three schoolwide family events throughout the year
-Be professional, discreet, and ready to contribute to a culture that values positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families
