Non-Need-Based Grants
Goshen Friends School offers one non-need-based grant. The Quaker Grant is for children of Quaker families. Families applying for only this grant do not need to file their financial information. To request a Quaker Grant Application, please contact Mimi Ackers at 610-696-8869.
Need-Based Financial Aid
Need-based financial aid is limited and is given on a first-come, first-served basis. We partner with School and Student Services (SSS) in our financial aid process. To begin your need-based financial aid application, you must complete the SSS Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). By submitting the PFS, you are granting SSS permission to analyze your financial information. Using its unique methodology, SSS estimates the amount you can contribute to school expenses and forwards that estimate to us. This helps us make fair and objective financial aid decisions.
The PFS is a comprehensive application that will take a bit of time to complete. Be sure to give yourself the time you need! To begin your online financial aid application for the 2023-24 school year, please follow the steps below:
- Visit the SSS Family Portal at: https://sssandtadsfa.force.com/https://sssandtadsfa.force.com/familyportal
- Create your Family Portal account with your email address and a password. If you applied for financial aid last year, log into the Family Portal as a Returning Family using the same email address and password.
- Complete a PFS for Academic Year 2023-24. You can log out of the portal at any time and return later to finish it.
- Once all PFS sections are complete with green checks, the “Submit & Pay” button activates. Follow the prompts to the payment screen. The fee of $60, assessed by SSS, is nonrefundable. Once your PFS is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn from the SSS system.
